Report an issue

Include your phone model, Android version, app version, whether you bought “Remove ads”, the mix you used, and what happened. For interrupted playback, mention the approximate time, any app blockers or screen-time limits you use, whether the phone was charging, the output route (speaker, headphones or Bluetooth), and any sleep timer. You can also leave private feedback through Google Play during testing.

Share only what is needed to investigate. Review screenshots and logs before sending them; exclude private notifications, passwords, payment details and personal recordings.

Keep playing with the screen off

Use Android Settings → Apps → ComfySound → App battery usage and allow unrestricted battery use if you want playback to recover after Android unexpectedly stops the service. Menu names vary by phone. The app’s “Keep playing all night” card opens app settings.

Unrestricted battery use does not guarantee recovery from every interruption. Force-stop, switching off the phone, and some manufacturer restrictions stop playback. Relaunching the app after a force-stop does not start sound automatically.

Allow ComfySound in app blockers and screen-time limits

Screen-time limits and apps that block other apps can stop ComfySound partway through the night. When one of them blocks ComfySound, your phone stops its sound and doesn’t start it again; ComfySound can’t override this. Some blockers switch back on at a set time, often in the early hours, or block whole categories of apps until you complete a task in another app. Parental controls work the same way.

If sound stops at about the same time each night, allow ComfySound, or leave it and its category out of anything that blocks apps:

Volume, headphones and offline use

Use your phone’s media-volume buttons. Keep volume low and comfortable. Headphone or Bluetooth disconnection pauses playback to avoid unexpected speaker output; press Play to resume. All twenty-one bundled sounds work offline. Ads may be unavailable offline; audio does not need them.

Saved mixes and deleting data

Remove individual saved mixes with the × on their chip. Android’s Clear storage or uninstall removes all local app data. Earlier ComfySound Free or Paid test apps kept separate settings; their saved mixes do not transfer to the current app. See the privacy policy for details.

Remove ads, restore and refunds

ComfySound is free with ads. When available, a one-time “Remove ads” purchase through Google Play turns them off; it is not a subscription. Buy it from “Remove ads” under the ad or in the app’s menu (⋮). The purchase belongs to your Google account: after reinstalling or on a new phone, sign in with the same account and it is restored automatically when the app can reach Google Play, or choose Restore purchases in the menu. Once restored, it stays ad-free offline. Google Play handles payment and refund requests; see Google Play’s refund instructions. Store releases are not live yet.
