COMFYSOUND
Beta testing
Help check ComfySound on real Android phones before its public release.

Email mduppes+comfysound@gmail.com with the Google account email you use on Google Play. Invitations are not open yet. Once the closed test is ready, you will receive the relevant Google Play opt-in link. This page itself does not enroll you.
Use that Google account to accept the test invitation and install the app from Google Play. There is one app. Testers can try “Remove ads” with a test purchase that is not charged, when that is set up.
Stay opted in for 14 days
Google requires new personal developer accounts created after November 13, 2023 to run a closed test with at least 12 testers continuously opted in for at least 14 days before applying for production access. Simply being added to an email list does not count. Opting out and back in restarts your continuous period.
Please use the app during the test and share feedback, including when everything works. Google also evaluates tester engagement and what we learned; reaching the minimum does not automatically approve release. Read Google’s testing requirement.
Things to try
- Select sounds and swipe between them; pause and resume.
- Mix up to four sounds, change their levels and tones, try scenes, and save/reopen a favorite.
- Set, replace and cancel a sleep timer; confirm the fade and stop.
- Try “Remove ads”, then reinstall and check that the purchase comes back (Restore purchases in the menu).
- Listen offline and with the screen locked. Check hardware volume and headphone/Bluetooth disconnection.
- If you are comfortable, try a longer evening or overnight session at low volume. Before you start, allow ComfySound in any app blocker or screen-time limit (see Support). Report interruptions, battery use and any uncomfortable joins in the audio.
Send your phone model, Android/app versions, whether ads were removed, what you tried and what happened to mduppes+comfysound@gmail.com, or use Google Play’s private testing feedback. Avoid sharing private recordings or unreviewed device logs.
